The English you need at work is specific to what you do. Every session at American Business English is shaped by your role, your industry, and the real conversations you need to navigate — so progress shows up exactly where it matters.
Before your course is designed, we gather information about your profession, your daily work, your responsibilities, why you need English, and what you want to achieve with it — and that becomes your syllabus. From there, every lesson is built around the situations you actually face at work, with a relevant article for reading and a linked video for listening between lessons.
General English and exam-preparation courses follow their own established syllabus and study materials.

- A native American English instructor, so your entire lesson is conducted completely in English.
- An instructor who is a native speaker of Arabic, Turkish, or Russian, held to that very same professional standard, who can offer additional language support if you are ever unsure or worried about understanding something explained fully in English.
New classes begin twice a month, so you’re never waiting long to get started. Once you let us know which package interests you, one of our Representatives will reach out to guide you through the next steps.
During that conversation, you’ll be given a short grammar assessment. You’ll then be scheduled for a speaking assessment with one of our instructors. Together, your grammar assessment and speaking assessment results are what allow us to determine the course design that’s the best fit for you.
If you’re enrolling in a private course, you’ll also complete a short questionnaire about your career, your job, and your day-to-day English needs before your course begins, since private courses are built specifically around you. Group courses follow an already-designed, fixed curriculum, so this step doesn’t apply to them.
